These two have been my rock throughout my illness.
My wife Sam and my dog Bruno. There were always there for me after a difficult dialysis session, throughout the numerous hospital appointments, and through periods of feeling physically and mentally awful.
Sam supported me through the ordeal of my first transplant in 2010 and I know she’ll support me during my next transplant.
Being greeted by Bruno with a wagging tail and whines of excitement always makes me feel better, no matter what’s happening.
